Inner chainrings, also known as granny rings, are the ultimate workhorse of mountain bikes. So why get a Cycle Dynamics ti granny? Get one to reduce chainsuck. Or for better durability. Or for less stress on your chain, better power transfer, better shifting. They're lighter than most aluminum grannies, too.
The difference is in the teeth. We gear cut our sprocket teeth for an accurate, smooth tooth that engages the chain roller perfectly. Read what's gear cutting. Our teeth are cut deep, but with a long taper to guide the chain up to and down from the middle ring. |

Our granny rings are machined to much tighter tolerances than can be achieved with stamping, laser cutting or CNC machining with an end mill. Its this accuracy, combined with the properties of titanium, that makes a granny ring that outperforms all others.
